The Mission
How can we idly live our lives on cultural autopilot when all around us people are suffering from racial, ecological, and sexual injustice? How can we use our creativity and personal histories to live a revolutionary life? The Karmic Reparations Project (KaRP) is an answer in the form of a creative adventure of reparations, healing, and empowerment initiated by Zarah Vylonis and Ilyusha Mann.
Who We Are
Ilyusha Mann

My background is in performance art and art theory. I am a dot connector, an idiosyncratic, jack-of-some-trades generalist, and a lover of radical wisdom. I’ve seen myself becoming my own circus and so I aim to ride the eclectic energy to its most positive social potential. This journey began for me with a vision to return my great grandparent’s homestead in the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Lakota, Sioux, Cheyenne, and all indigenous people who hold these lands as deeply sacred. After partnering my mission with Zarah’s, my view of racial reparations work expanded dramatically, and it is this merging of minds that is giving birth to KaRP.
